Tell us about Forever Black. What’s it about?
When Ellery moved to New York with her boyfriend, she thought they’d live happily ever after in their small New York apartment. She never thought he’d pack his bags and leave because he “needed space.” With her newfound single status and fear of being alone, Ellery buries herself in her artwork and paintings until one night she helps a mysterious intoxicated stranger get home safely. Little did she know the mysterious stranger is none other than CEO and millionaire Connor Black.  After finding Ellery in his kitchen the next morning and assuming she broke his #1 rule about sleepovers, he becomes intrigued, not only by her stubbornness and defiance, but by her kindness.

Connor Black, emotionally dead and damaged, that stemmed from a personal tragedy, made a vow to never love or fall in love with a woman, until Ellery Lane walked into his life by accident. After she opens up and shows him her world, Connor starts to feel emotions and feelings he never knew existed. Tell us a bit more about Ellery Lane and her relationship with Connor Black.
Ellery Lane is a strong, independent and stubborn girl. Her relationship with Connor Black is based on friendship first that gradually progresses into a romance. Ellery has a secret and once Connor finds out, that’s when their journey of love, courage and strength takes over. It’s an emotional journey for both Ellery and Connor.

Will we be seeing these characters in future novels?
I am currently writing “Forever You” which is a Forever Black novel told from Connor Black’s point of view. Readers will get to experience Connor and Ellery’s journey all over again through the eyes of Connor with additional scenes that weren’t in Forever Black.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
Writing has always been a passion of mine. I’ve dreamed of writing a novel since I was a child. I was one of those people who never believed I could do it, so I never pursued it.  A few years ago when I was taking an English class, my professor  pulled me aside one day and asked me if I ever considered writing a novel. I’ve had all these ideas running through my head for years and suddenly one day I sat at my laptop and started writing a book. Half way through it I stopped and started another book. I stopped that book half way through when the story of Forever Black came to my mind. Once I started writing Forever Black I couldn’t stop until it was finished. That’s how I knew Forever Black was the book I would publish.

When I’m not writing, I’m working full-time in a laboratory at a hospital, being a wife and a mother to 3 teenage girls.

What’s next?
After I’m done writing and publishing “Forever You,”  I will be working on my third novel titled  “Love In Between.”
