Tell us about The Dragon’s Disciples.
The Dragon’s Disciples is set in a dying frozen kingdom wrought with chaos and destruction. Gods are gambling with the lives of men and the royal family is tearing itself apart, everyone is trying to get ahead of the other. Romance has its place but intrigue always takes precedence. And those who seem to be trying to glue the pieces might be the ones ripping everything apart.

What genre is it?
It is an epic fantasy novel, with a subgenre of gothic horror.

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
It will appeal to readers of fantasy, fanatics of vampires, intrigue, and
gods. It will appeal to those who can’t find enough books with liches in them. It will appeal to those who like turmoil, high stakes drama, and just a touch of romance.

Tell us more.
The very first person to ever read my entire novel stormed into the classroom, slammed the manuscript down in my lap and screamed at me, demanding that I write more while simultaneously outraged at the outcome. That’s the kind of reaction I wish I could see all the time.

And will you write more?
I am in the process of writing a sequel, The Heretic Priest, which is due to set sail in August.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am from a small city in North Carolina. I have been writing ever since I can remember (no exaggeration, I don’t remember a time when I was without a notebook and pen) and of course I was a voracious reader. I was also homeschooled, so I had plenty of time for both activities. I am obsessed with my characters and if you ever meet me on the street, the best way to get me talking is to just ask about how they are faring. I promise you, Pharun is a chatterbox and once you get him going he won’t shut up until he has told you about his entire year.

Just in case we don’t run into you on the street, how can we track you down online?
www.cnfaust.wordpress.com.
On Twitter I am @Glitzkrieg_King, but as of right now I am hippie dippie and I don’t have a Facebook.

What’s next?
The Heretic Priest, a riveting sequel, to be closely followed by the third addition to the series, The Hollow Living.
