Tell us about First Taste: Kendra.
Working upwards of sixty hours every week with no semblance of a life otherwise, Kendra Holliday never expected to be bitten by the lust bug, especially for co-worker, Lea Jacobs.

After suddenly discovering a pulsating attraction, Lea challenges
Kendra to loosen a few buttons and dive into the ultimate stress
reliever: lots of hot, mind-numbing sex.

Problem is, Kendra is a lifelong hetero and the reality of ‘dealing
with’ another female sends her running. Can she overcome her fears
and embrace her true colors before the window of opportunity (and
Lea’s legs) closes?

First Taste is the 12,500 word-count first installment of the True
Colors series although it can serve as a stand-alone title.

The book is meant for adults only. It contains explicit and plentiful
sexual situations, language, thoughts, and deeds between two grown-ass women that many may find objectionable. It is erotica and
approximately 70% of it is, well…erotic. Many may object to its
contents, but of course they might be tempted to try it anyway.

What kind of erotica is it?
African-American Lesbian Erotica

Complete this sentence for us: if you like _________________, you’ll love First Taste: Kendra.
If you like novels that are more about relationships than just romance-with a healthy dose of eroticism,  and expose a character’s emotions to the point that they are almost tangible, then you’ll love the First Taste: Kendra.

How would you like the reader to feel as they read the last word of your book?
Hot and bothered, and anxious to read the next installment.

Can you tell us what that next installment will be called?
True Colors: Lea’s World.

Tell us more. What can we expect from the series?
True Colors is a trilogy. Of course, the first installment- First Taste, is Kendra’s story. It serves as a short introduction to the conundrum that is Kendra and Lea. Even aside from her reluctance to change the dynamics of the relationship with her best female friend and co-worker, Kendra is so entrenched in doing what is expected that she needs a map to do anything that is also self-gratifying.

The second installment with a tentative March release date is Lea’s World. The little we know about Lea was revealed only through Kendra’s perception and through their dialogue. Although Lea is a successful attorney, she is street first and street last, and doesn’t compromise on the in-between. In the full-length novel, we dig deep into Lea’s background, and therefore into her psyche. Lea’s mother and their challenging environment shaped her into the ‘boss’ lady who today embraces her desires, and we get to see the formation first-hand.

The final full-length installment of the True Colors series examines the result of the collision of Kendra and Lea, and all the drama that pushed them to their crossroad. It is an erotic-and as readers have already pointed out about First Taste-and intense ride that will hopefully redirect the readers’ perceptions of lesbian relationships as they think they know it.

What do you mean?
I started writing the True Colors series when I grew exhausted looking for books about lesbian relationships that go deeper than the sterotypical ‘licky-licky’ mentality. I’ve been told that sensuality leaps from the pages of First Taste, and I strived to keep that heightened level throughout the series. I also wanted to put into words how two women can experience and express passion without it diminishing their femininity or their desire for a ‘normal’ life.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am an accountant by day, mother and wife at all times.

When everyone else is asleep, I’m up trying to write quickly enough
to keep up with the hundreds of scenarios always screaming to get out of my head.

I am an open and practicing bi-sexual.
