Tell us about Thrones Of Granite.
It begins in the history of the great battle in heaven, when a third of the angelic host was cast out of heaven and most of the Fallen were locked away until the day-of-judgment. A key was formed from the firmament of heaven and its form was kept secret as it was kept in the Ark of the Covenant. There it remained until acts of man during the crusades caused the Angel that guarded the key to remove it, and entrust it to a chosen bloodline of man who would carry it until judgment day.

Enter Bain Sanderson. The unknowing present-day last of that Guardian bloodline who’s family had a mysterious history. Living a reclusive life in the rainforest of Western Washington, he discovers the scene of killings while out hunting that catapult him unwillingly into the investigation. Soon he is in a world of angelic revelations and everything he thought he knew about his faith is tested, as the remnant of an angelic/human bloodline of the Fallen pursue both his identity and the possession of the Key. Guided by his Guardian Angel Trycium and a few close friends from both his past and present, he must decipher the clues left behind by his grandfather. Clues that not only will unravel the history of his family, but help him defeat an unimaginable evil that is threatening mankind’s existence.

What genre is it?
The genre would be Speculative fiction as it is a biblical-based. However, reviews have been very positive in the general fiction genre as well. It takes what many believe to be biblical history and then asks….”But what if?”

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
Readers who enjoy a fast-paced story, with characters that pull you in. I expected male readers to be the core, however my best reviews have been female readers that seemed to really enjoy a particular character.

Complete this sentence for us: If you like___________________,  you’ll love Thrones of Granite
The movie “The Prophesy” or “Fallen”. Much of my early inspiration was Frank Peretti, so if you liked Piercing the Darkness or This Present Darkness, this book is for you.

How would you like the reader to feel as they read the last word of your book?
If they read the last words and sit back feeling like they were just on an incredible journey, then I’ve done my job.

Have you written any other books that we should read next?
This is my first fiction novel. However, if you love fishing, hunting and the outdoors, I have 3 other books in print. Tomorrows Fish, The Telling of Waters, BEGINNINGS: A Season of Archery.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a 50 year old husband, father & veteran. I enjoy anything outdoors, my dogs & a great story told anywhere.

Have you got a blog we should check out?

What’s next?
I am in the process of completing an outline for my next General Fiction novel.
