Tell us about Corpus Christi. What’s it about?
As one reviewer recently wrote: The world desperately needs an infusion of hope. Jacob Hope.

Jake is a man wandering through life with no true direction, he merely feels a strong inner urge to do something of worth during his time. In the space of a very short time he discovers that not only have the gates of Hell been unlocked, but he is the Christ reborn, and it’s up to him to save humanity.

What genre is it?
Action-thriller with a strong dash of paranormal.

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
Awesome ones.

Complete this sentence for us: If you like___________, you’ll love Corpus Christi.
Angelfall, possibly.

Tell us a bit more about Jacob Hope.
Jake urgently feels the need to aid humanity, and yet questions himself at every turn. His upbringing cowed beneath the abusive shadow of his religiously zealous foster father has left him despising the teachings of the Bible, and yet he is drawn to benevolent acts. A strange mystic tells him he is Christ reincarnated, and then several months later he comes face to face with his first fallen angel – who promptly kills him.

What superpowers – or rather, miracles – can he perform after the revelation?
Jake’s access to any kind of ethereal powers is uncontrolled. Sometimes they appear, but more often they don’t. He can’t rely on them to save humanity, that task is his, and his alone.

We’ve got to ask: will this book offend devout Christians?
I don’t think so. If anything it should give them hope. There is no degradation of religion – however there is a hefty dose of reality. This story is about finding the answers for yourself, not having them given to you from some almighty source.

Tell us a little about some of your other books. What should we read next?
The Dark Path is a precursor to Corpus Christi. It’s not vital to read it, as the storylines THE DARK PATH Cover - smallrun almost completely separate, but if you want to know more about the enigmatic Vain and why he’s searching for Sebastian, this is his tale.

Beyond Hades and Slaves of Valhalla explore the possibility of Greek mythology invading our world, and Blacklisted is a totally corporeal-based tale about using a murderer to catch a terrorist mastermind.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I write phenomenal books. On weekends I hang out in a nightclub, working as a bouncer; part of a career in contract security which has spanned almost two decades. I’m married and we have four guinea pigs.

Have you got a website where readers can keep up with your work? How can we follow you on Twitter and Facebook?
My website is www.lukeromyn.com. I’m most active on Twitter with over 270000 followers. My handle is @LukeRomyn. My Facebook fan page is here: https://www.facebook.com/AuthorLukeRomyn.

What’s next?
Three more books for The Legacy Chronicles series, and then I might start on another book using Wes from The Prometheus Wars saga, although there are several other ideas banging around inside my head. Who knows what might emerge?
