What’s The Red Speck about?
Sophie awakens to find herself on a gorgeous stretch of beach with no memory of how she arrived, nor idea how to get home.  Aided by a seemingly random band of characters, Sophie embarks on the most difficult journey of her life.  She must confront living inner demons and vividly painful events in order to create lasting change in her life.

What genre is it?
Visionary Fiction.

Huh? What do you mean?
The Red Speck is about a woman’s allegorical journey within.  She must correct old psychological trauma in order to move forward and create the life she wants, rather than live the life she was dealt.

The Red Speck is steeped in esoterica, it’s sort of a book within a book.

So what kind of readers will it appeal to?
The Red Speck appeals to anyone who has had to face the need for change in their lives.  I suspect though, it resonates most strongly with women.

Also, anyone with an interest in the chakra system or metaphysics in general, will understand the book on another level.

Complete this sentence for us: if you like _________________, you’ll love The Red Speck.
If you like the idea of creating your own reality, you’ll love my book.

How would you like the reader to feel as they read the last word of your book?
That question made me smile, which is how I’d like the reader to feel.  Happy, satisfied, as though they’ve just read something useful.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
“I’m a loner Dottie, a rebel…”  …not really, I’m just a woman, on the same ride as everyone else.  Trying to raise happy and healthy children.  I cook with reckless abandon, and live for family dinners with my husband and all three of our brood gathered around the table.  Physics, religion, metaphysics, the universe, and ancient wisdom fascinate me.  …and canning…  I’d really like to take up canning.

Do you have a website where we can keep up with your work?
Yes!  http://www.idolsofthetribe.com  I post short stories, oddly written poetry, and photography.  Oh yes, and recipes.   Kitchen alchemy.

How can we follow you on Twitter and/or Facebook?
I’m @SConde3 on Twitter, and on FB you can find me here https://www.facebook.com/S.Condewrites.

What’s next?
Well, I’m still working on getting the word out about The Red Speck, and I continue to write on my blog fairly regularly.  The next book is in the works.
