Can you tell us about Love Unfeigned?
Love Unfeigned is a novella for any and everyone who believes (or would like to believe or believe again) that imperfect people should, can, and do experience perfect love. It’s an invitation to take one’s self-imposed bounds off of love and to LET LOVE BE, as it’s meant to be.

What’s the story?
Love Unfeigned tells the story of Lorraine, a plucky and competitive girl, who one day contends on the playground against Isaiah, an impish boy whose smile gleams in more ways than one. The two of them can’t help knowing each other, but neither can they avoid passions and misfortunes lining the path to young adulthood. When the breakup of Isaiah’s family disrupts the haven he’s shared with Lorraine, their natural relationship is eventually threatened by jealousy, grave trauma, and abandonment. As one year follows another, and another, we’re left to discover what it might take to reunite these two companions in love: love undeniably real and unbounded by time. As one character in the book quotes: “Everything didn’t have to turn out perfect. I just wanted you there.”

What genre is it?
Romance.

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
This novella will appeal to thinkers, dreamers, and romantics.

Complete this sentence for us: if you like _________________, you’ll love Love Unfeigned.
If you like romantic fiction that makes you want to live better after you read it, you’ll love my book.

Live better?
I’d like the reader to feel moved, nostalgic, full of appreciation for loved ones, and optimistic.

Have you written any other books that we should read next?
I’ve written Love & Eminence: A Suite of Stories. I call it “A contemporary and epic tour of the human heart.” The themes of various kinds of love and eminence run through every story, beginning with A Bona Fide Audience and ending with the novella-length tale, The Movement of Crowns. With romance, war, and made-up worlds, the entire book doesn’t fit any one genre, but it all works well together!

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a lover of literature and films, a bookworm-turned-author whose “first love” is fiction writing. I also write nonfiction (of the self-help variety) and poetry. After over six years of performing my poetic pieces as a spoken word artist, I just released my first album, Hope. Lyricized. I’m also an editor, and I’ve gotten into graphic designing, video editing, and sound mixing–but all of these have really stemmed from my first being a writer.

Do you have a website where we can keep up with your work?
