The Epherium Chronicles is a new sci-fi series I started working on about 3 years ago.  I came up with an initial premise and wrote a small story that I wanted to use as a prologue.  Instead, it became my outline and back story for this entire series.

The first book of the series, Embrace, begins 20 years before the main story.  It chronicles Earth’s first contact with an alien race known as the Cilik’ti.  Earth had only a few years earlier sent huge colony ships to three worlds in nearby solar systems.

The main story begins after a long and devastating conflict had ended with the aliens and Earth detects new signals from deep space.  Two of those colony ships had made it safely.

Now Earth must reach them or they could be easy pickings for the Cilik’ti, but Earth has to be careful.  They don’t need another war.

The story follows the journey of a new warship, the Armstrong, and her Captain, James Hood, as they embark on the dangerous mission to make contact with the colonies and protect if they can.

What genre is it?
Science Fiction. Space Opera, but also Military and a Adventure.

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
Older teens to Adults.  Anyone who likes good Sci-fi, especially Star Trek, Star Wars or Babylon 5 fans.

Complete this sentence for us: if you like _________________, you’ll love this series.
Babylon 5.

What can you tell us about the next book in the series?
The second book in the series, titled Crucible, was released on April 26, 2013.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a huge Sci-fi/fantasy reader and fan of movies and television.  I was huge fan of Sherlock Holmes and that spawned into JRR Tolkien and C.S. Lewis.  There are some many great authors I have followed over the years.  Today, I still read works from Margaret Weis, Jim Butcher, Tracy Hickman, Brad Sanderson/Robert Jordan, and about anything Star Wars or Star Trek related.
