Tell us more.
My newest book is actually a compilation of my first four novellas in the Daughter of Ares Chronicles.  I am currently reading the paper proof right now and hope to have the paper one out by [May 2013], real life willing!  It is called Verses of Athine (The Daughter of Ares Chronicles).  I am very proud of it as I have laid the whole book out myself and also created the cover.

What genre is it?
Fantasy is all I say it is.  I have had some tell me that the first novella is good for middle grade and up.  I have been told I am “YA”, but I don’t really agree with some of that because I do have curse words in some of my books and sexual situations.  Probably no worse than prime time TV, but still.  I wrote it just to have the story written.  I am a big fan of fantasy and paranormal.  At one point I was also told it was “speculative”.

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
Well, if you like fantasy names, LOTR, Xena, Buffy, or MMORPGs it will probably appeal to you.  Also, if you like strong female leads….all my books feature a strong female lead and recurring sisters Athine (Ath-in-ay) and Harmonia (Har-moan-e-a).

Have you written any other books that we should read next?
The Secret of Genetic Corp X is a sci-fi book that links into Verses of Athine.  It has been compared to Blade Runner and is where the character Zarra comes from that we first meet in Worlds Collide.

I also have a poetry book called Erosion of the Heart.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a painfully private person, but I am a slave to a desk job by day.  I like my job, I just wish I could leave it more often.  I also have a beautiful 4 year old daughter that tries my patience.  I love fantasy, fantasy art, MMORPGs, and a little D&D.  Shocker is that I am a chick.

What’s next?
I plan to get my fifth book written and out there.  I just have to get this paper proof for my book approved.  If anyone ever says that independent authors are lazy they have no idea what they are talking about.  I’ve had to learn A LOT about formatting , cover design, and the realization that people are sometimes just jerks when it comes to the work you have done.  Keeping up with social media is also hard.  I hope to keep expanding and promoting…not to mention writing!
