You’ve created quite an interesting character in Dr. Paul Powers. Will we see him again?
Secret Thoughts is actually the third book in a trilogy of adventures for Dr. Paul Powers. The other two books are as yet unpublished. I may publish the other books in the future as prequels.

We’re sure fans of Secret Thoughts would love to see him return.
Many readers have told me they couldn’t put Secret Thoughts down, and didn’t want it to end. When the reader finishes Secret Thoughts, I want them to feel like they’ve just taken an exciting journey of discovery with a group of lovable characters to a fascinating world of high-tech medicine. The reader will have solved a murder mystery, traveled internationally, and gotten a glimpse into the future.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a physician, author, and long time anesthesiologist. I live with my wife and two children in Washington State near Seattle. When I’m not writing or giving anesthesia, I enjoy biking, kayaking, and traveling. I read mostly mysteries, thrillers, detective fiction, and sci-fi.

I have technical computer training and I built my author website with Concrete5 open source CMS. My blog contains random thoughts on books, writing, inspiration, promotion, social media, computers, and medical technology.

What’s next?
I’ve had many readers asking me for more Dr. Paul Powers thrillers, so I may revise and release one of the already written prequels. The prequels need some technology updates and other adjustments. I’m currently working on another medical thriller not involving Dr. Powers, and might decide to finish and release that one next.
