Cecil O. Biggs, the baddie in this tale is a jack of many trades, master of one: dismembering his victims. He’s a man of the cloth by day, sexual predator by night.

Tell us more about Cecil O. Biggs.
It’s all about Q.O.T with Cecil O. Quality Of Torture.

He’s got bodies hanging in his basement walk-in cooler; he’s got corpses stashed and rotting inside the crawlspace of his underground lair of carnal depravity. There’s just one problem, as he sees it: the body count is lacking. To do something about it he trolls Porn Valley strip joints and fleshpots; he cruises the nighttime streets of Southern California in his luxury auto tempting vics with drugs, baiting them with cash.

No Mercy, No Remorse

If you get in his car, you better be prepared to fight for your life. If he gets you back to his torture dungeon, you’ll be begging him to kill you.

I can’t say anything more than this without pi**ing off readers.

You’ve got to give us more. What genre is it?
Definitely horror, with a capital H.  Raw, hard-hitting. Not for the faint of heart, nor the weak of belly. This is a six volume series and each of the volumes contains a disclaimer. That ought to give you some idea.

What should we take from that?
That life is still a miracle–any way you slice it. And most of all: be kind to your kids, because if you’re not, they could turn out to be like Cecil O.

What kind of readers will this series appeal to?
Anyone who likes having the cr*p scared out of them. You want a healthy dose of insomnia? Want to be repulsed? Shaken down to your core? You like Jack Ketchum, Stephen King, Robert Bloch, Clive Barker, even Charles Bukowski? You appreciate horror flicks like the original Last House on the Left (sans the Keystone cops interlude)? original 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre, William Lustig and Joe Spinell’s Maniac, James Landis’s The Sadist starring Arch Hall, Jr., original When A Stranger Calls, original Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer…you got it. This should be right up your neck of the woods, so to speak.

Tell us about the series.
Well, this is a 6 volume series. Should keep fans of horror pretty busy reading for quite some time. Now, should this thing leave you totally exhausted and wiped out by the time you’re done, and you’d like to try something a little lighter, say, easier going: give Working the Hard Side of the Street – LA Cab Stories Vol. 1 a try.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’ve had all types of jobs over the years, you name it: cab driver, porn warehouse shipping clerk, factory worker, print shop goffer, grocery market shelf stocker, delivered phone books door to door, sold re-built mattresses to Sunset Boulevard prostitutes out in LA LA. Even had a couple of white collar jobs that I loathed. Just too many jobs to list them all here.

What’s next?
The first three volumes are up. Would like to get Volumes 4, 5 & 6 up and running. They’re written. Fans are clamoring for them. Quite a few of these fans are aware of Lunch Meat, a micro-budget film I wrote and directed back in the mid-80s that has developed a cult following over the years. Horror fans are super loyal.
