What inspired you to write Once Upon Another Time?
I’ve always been intrigued with the spirit world – spooky unexplained sounds during the middle of the night, the world from beyond trying to claw its way through to our world. Or a chill that rattles the spine when one senses that something unnatural is near. However, most consuming in my life has always been the question of what becomes of us after we die.

How did that begin?
My brother died in a tragic, unexpected way, and therefore, I wanted to write a paranormal book that gives people the feeling of hope and and that nothing in this world is ever impossible.

You seem to have achieved that.

I was born in Brooklyn, New York, grew up in Wisconsin, and I currently live in Michigan with my husband and our three cats. Following a long career in advertising and marketing, which included owning my own agency as well as having served as director of marketing and creative services for a well-known party goods manufacturer, I now indulge in my love of writing—full time.
