Resisting Her is about 27-year-old Cole, an alpha-male FBI agent who rescues 19-year-old Savannah from a cult compound. He’s inexplicably drawn to this damaged young girl and cares for her. They eventually begin an intense romantic relationship despite his better judgement.

What genre is it?
It’s a contemporary erotic romance.

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
Anyone that enjoys a love story, lots of sexual tension and steam, as well as a happily-ever-after ending.

You have written a number of very successful books. Is there now a Kendall Ryan-type of lead female character and a Kendall Ryan-type of lead male character? Tell us a bit more about Cole Fletcher and Savannah and if they conform to these types.
Oh goodness…good question! I think I’m actually becoming known for not having a type. Each of my books has been really different, but I suppose the male characters do share a certain alpha-male strength and I like to write equally strong females. Cole and Savannah do fit in these roles as well, though with Savannah’s upbringing in a cult, she’s quite damaged to begin with. Throughout the story she grows and evolves tremendously to the point where she’s able to care for Cole and teach him about love.

Complete this sentence for us: if you like _____________, then you’ll love Resisting Her.
Uhh… haha…I’m not sure! I actually had to tweet this question to my readers and I’ve been told I’m similar to Katie Ashley and Kristen Proby in my writing style.

Clever tactic! We don’t think any of our other interviewees have thought to do that. What is your Twitter account? How can we follow you on social media?
I’m such a social media junkie. Make sure you swing by and say hi on Twitter or Facebook! Your support means the world to me!

You are possibly best known for the Unravel series.  For anyone who hasn’t read it yet, can you tell us what the books are about?
My bestselling book to date has actually been Hard to Love, but Unravel Me was my first book and is very dear to my heart. Unravel Me features a hero with amnesia and the heroine is a Ph.D. student sent to study him. They begin a forbidden affair, and when his brutal past is eventually uncovered, it shakes everything they thought they knew.

How much can you tell us about your upcoming novel, The Impact of You?

Oh, I am sooo excited about this book! It’s a bit younger than my other books – it’s New Adult and the character’s are in college. It’s also told in dual point-of-view, alternating chapters between the male and female characters, which has quickly become my favourite way to write.

Book Blurb:

Needing an escape from her past, Avery chooses a college where no one knows her. Keeping a low profile was the plan, falling for the intense frat boy, Jase wasn’t. Yet she can’t deny how alive she feels when he’s near. Even as common sense implores her to stay away, her body begs her to get closer.

Jase, numb from his own family drama, has grown bored with weekends fueled by nameless girls and countless bottles when he meets Avery. Helping her cope with her past is better than dealing with the bullshit his own life’s served up. Determined to drive away the painful secret she’s guarding, he appoints himself her life coach, and challenges her to new experiences. Getting close to her and being the one to make her smile are simply perks of the job.

But when Avery’s past boldly saunters in, refusing to be forgotten, can Jase live with the truth about the girl he’s fallen for?

Recommended for 17+ due to mature themes and sexual content.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
Hmm, let’s see. I’m a girly-girl at heart. I like the color pink, shopping, and I always have my nails painted. I love to read and write romance books. I have two of the cutest little puppies ever, Lucy and Sugar and an adorable husband. I’m a pretty lucky lady.
