The concept of Castle Grey is that in the late 1800’s an eccentric man wanted to determine what happened to the soul of a man after he dies. A hundred years later, in the bowels of the historic Castle Grey, the heir of the estate discovers the ancestor’s notes and reignites the quest. He has already killed seven women and will continue until he discovers the truth.
What genre is it?
What kind of readers will it appeal to?
People that enjoy a good Whodunit mixed with a little Dean Koontz and Steven King.
Tell us a bit more about Katherine Katt.
Katherine Katt is a tall, beautiful FBI profiler who is equally intelligent and driven. Her biggest obstacle is that as a child, her parents were murdered—she was forced to pull the trigger. Personally, she has managed to overcome the tragedy. Unfortunately, her employer still thinks that she may be a ticking time bomb.
And Mickey James?
Mickey (Mouse) James is a police detective with the Sacramento Police Department. He’s tall, ruggedly handsome and doesn’t play well with others. He too has a history of tragedy that creates a wall that’s nearly impossible to penetrate.
Tell us what you have planned for the rest of this Katt and Mouse series. What can you tell us about the next book and its story?
The next book of the series is almost complete and titled, Long Shot. It’s a story where once again, Katt and Mouse (James) are thrust together to stop a sharp shooter who is killing high ranking government officials and judges.
Have you written any other books?
My first published work is titled Monterey Madness – Mr. One Pocket. It’s a quirky mystery with a great cast of characters that you’ll want to get to know. I have two other works that will be coming out soon: Through the Eyes of Death and Connections – The Devil’s Door, later this year.
Tell us a little about yourself.
L.C. Wright (that’s me) has been a self-employed financial advisor for the last thirty-five years. I have been working as an author for the last twelve years attempting to grow in the craft. I believe that my work has now improved enough that when my work goes public it’s something I can be proud of.
Do you have a website or blog where we can keep up with your work?
www.lanniewright.com is my website where you can get to know me better.
How can we follow you on social media?
I can also be found on @lanniewright. You can also find me on Goodreads and LinkedIn.
Over the last twelve years I have gone from being someone who writes to being an author. My short term plan is to continue to write and develop my Katt and Mouse series as well as develop other series that will allow my fans to meet the kind of characters that they will want to continue getting to know.
