Many people consider the Internet as a place of evil, they are now more right than they know. A new entity emerges on the Internet. It knows only one thing, hatred for the humans that surround it and threatened its existence at the moment of its birth.

Is it an ancient evil reborn in a new realm? Or something far worse?

Sarah Mitchell must uncover the entity’s plan and stop it before it is too late, but she must overcome  many obstacles, such as why the mysterious lawyer, Morton, is there at every step.

This is the first book in the Mitchell & Morton series.

What genre is it?
Faust 2.0 is a modern day thriller with some horror themes.

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
People who enjoy thrillers with a bit of terror thrown in. It’ll also appeal to science fiction fans who enjoy a little darkness.

Tell us a bit more about Sarah Mitchell.
Sarah Mitchell is a security analyst for GCHQ (the British equivalent of the NSA). Her work places restrictions on her life, her private actions have got her into trouble with her bosses. She’s now the subject of gossip throughout the office and now she has to hunt something down that no-one believes can exist.

Complete this sentence for us: if you like _________________, you’ll love this book.
If you think the Internet is the spawn of the devil, you’ll love my book.

What can we expect from the rest of the series?
At the end of Faust 2.0 Sarah is faced with a huge decision, what does she decide? We also find out more about Morton and what his actual role is. Why does he help such obvious monsters? And of course we encounter more terrifying plots that they must uncover and defeat. The digital realm has never been so dangerous.

Can’t wait. We interviewed you a while ago about Conversations in the Abyss. But for anyone who missed that interview, can you tell us about the rest of your work?
Take a look at ‘The Cult of Me‘ and ‘Conversations in the Abyss’, the first two books in ‘The Third Path’ series – a man who has grown up with the ability to invade and control people’s minds is drawn into a conspiracy and prevent the coming apocalypse. But should we really rely on a man this evil to save us?

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m fortunate that I spend nearly all my time doing things that I love. By day I work as a video game producer and by night I’m working just as hard as an author. I don’t sleep much, but I love what I do.

What’s next?
I’m currently working on the first draft of my next novel, a science
fiction tale called ‘Sun Dragon’. It is the tale of the first manned mission to Mars. What they discover there changes the world forever.
