Interview with Alexandria Rhodes, author of More Than You Know
More Than You Know is a book about second chances. It’s about a love that was never really over between the two characters Bryn and Tyler. After years of not seeing or speaking to each other after a heartbreaking goodbye, Bryn and Tyler go through many obstacles to bring their love alive again. Along the way Bryn finds out that Tyler has many secrets. Secrets that are connected to her father’s death four years prior. More Than You Know is set in present time in Savannah, GA. It opens with Bryn having to make a decision to move back home to Savannah or not after attending college in New York City. She knows she will be faced with the demons that have been haunting her ever since she moved away four years ago. She survived a car accident that took her father’s life and was broken up with by her boyfriend around the same with no explanation. Bryn finds herself wanting to understand more about Tyler’s disappearance and along the way she starts to fall in love with him all over again. What genre is it? What kind of readers will it appeal to? Savannah, GA is the setting in this novel. I know I love that area so if readers enjoy the city, I think they will have a smile on their faces when they are able to feel as if they are in Savannah; just like the characters. Tell us a little more about Bryn and Tyler. Tyler Wilson is a man who knows what he wants. As a musician, Tyler uses the pain of leaving Bryn as his fuel in music writing. When Bryn comes back into his life, he is determined to make things right and to start mending the wounds he caused. He has a secret that he’s not quite ready to talk about and when the truth comes out, he and Bryn find out there is more to it than they thought.
