Sally’s trek through a world of unimaginable creatures will bring her face to face against a menacing entity to outdo them all – the church’s secret division, The Cross. Sally’s been kidnapped and Bocnic, her zombie-fied knight in slightly shiny armor, must find her before it’s too late. Much more stirs beneath the deviously shallow waters of life than either of them know about. Will riptides of a forlorn lover drive a wedge between Sally and Bo?

This is part of a trilogy, isn’t it?
Temperature: Bitter Cold is the second novel in the trilogy. My well received debut was Temperature: Dead and Rising.

What genre is this trilogy?
Dark Fantasy is the best fit for my Temperature Trilogy.

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
I think readers of all ages will enjoy this trilogy. All walks of mythical life are represented and fancifully twisted into something new. Real places are used throughout the trilogy to give readers a vacation in interesting places. Some older reader will enjoy the fresh look I’ve given to old folklore creatures.

We love old folklore!
If you like reading re-imaged stories of traditional folklore, you’ll love my book.

Tell us about Sally.
Sally is a special kind of zombie raised by the powers-that-be to control all undead creatures. She’s dead, but her body is still coming to terms with that. One side effects of being undead is slowly decaying on the inside – dying all over again – which she is a minor issue compared to when Sally’s lecherous urges herald the surge of magical energies that come at sunset.

What’s the story behind your book’s title?
The answer is within the story. My first novel, Temperature: Dead and Rising, predicted Sally’s rebirth as a zombie, so this novel holds a secret to what awaits between the pages. Telling you too much about the title will give away its story.

In that case, tell us a bit about yourself.

Adam Santo was born and raised in Southern California. He joined the Army for a short lived career as a soldier. Currently, he lives and writes in Florida with his family and faithful dog, Copper.

Do you have a website where we can keep up with your work?
You can follow me at http://www.adamsanto.com for updates and random blogs.

How can we follow you on Twitter and/or Facebook?
I am usually posting random thoughts on Twitter (@AdamSanto) and Facebook.

What’s next?
I haven’t titled the last novel, but I am busy writing it. Another book in the works is ghost story that originally started life as a movie, County Road 14. The producers ask me to adapt it into a book, which will be a big challenge for me. Can I make the book better than the movie? I think so.
