One More Miracle, is a unique, uplifting, and captivating story of a woman who finds success and love against all odds.  Our heroine ANNA  believes that we are meant to be happy.  Still, lately, she is anything but.  Anna believes in miracles, but her husband’s mysterious disappearance and her daughter’s accident are really putting that belief to the test. She knows a less optimistic person would give up and just let go of the tiny thread of hope that a miracle will happen.  But, if she does, what then?

When the handsome Steve comes into her life, falling in love is the last thing on her mind, but as their friendship grows, Anna finds herself wanting more.  Finding happiness again, to Anna, seems unlikely, but when you believe in miracles, anything is possible!

A fun read for all those who believe that love isn’t only for the young,  it has received excellent reader reviews.

We can guess the answer to this, but we’ll ask anyway. What genre is this book?
One More Miracle is a Contemporary Romance.

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
I wrote One More Miracle with the goal of creating the kind of book that I would love to read.  It is, in part, a love story, but so much more.  The characters are real people who are easy to love and even the villains have redeeming qualities which is so often the case in real life.  The plot moves constantly with a series of unexpected and entertaining events that readers say make it almost impossible to put down.   And, of course, as is the case in all good books of this type, its ending leaves the reader satisfied and happy.

It is a fun read for all those who believe that love isn’t only for the young,  and it has received excellent reader reviews.

Tell us more about these real people.
I love Anna.  She has courage, humor, and spunk.  Despite the fact that life has dealt her a hard hand to play, she never gives up or gives in.  You can’t help but admire that!  She is special and yet she is every woman.  I know readers will enjoy her journey and her triumph.

Our hero Steve is my favorite kind of man, strong, courageous, yet beneath it all, he is a man with a gentle spirit.  I fell in love with him, and I hope my readers will too.

How do you expect those readers to feel as they read the last word of the book?
I would like my readers to feel happy and satisfied and perhaps a little disappointed that the story is over.  To me the mark of a great read is the reluctance to say good-bye to the characters who have become friends.

Have you written any other books that we should read next?
Yes, I am in the process of publishing my next novel, One More Chance, which I expect to be available by late summer 2013.

What’s it about?
When she buys the little cottage on Honeysuckle Lane, all Vanessa wants is a peaceful place to heal and start her life over.  Everything about it is perfect, everything that is but the antisocial man next door who makes it instantly obvious that he wants to be left alone.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a former college professor, writer of self-help and inspirational works, expert author and, most recently, contemporary fiction author.  All of my works bring me joy and satisfaction but I particularly love writing novels because today’s world is so challenging and often stressful, and I have found that there is nothing more relaxing than curling up with a good book.  I feel honored to be able to offer that gift to those who appreciate it.

Do you have a website where we can keep up with your work?
My website is http://carolmbarrett.com.

How can we follow you on Twitter and/or Facebook?
@CarolMBarrett.

What’s next?
What’s next for me is to complete my third romance novel which is presently in the works and simultaneously complete my next non-fiction work. My life is so full, and I have so many things I want to accomplish.  I am determined not to “die with my music still in me” (my favorite quote from Dr. Wayne Dyer)
