It is about a small community in Savannah and a group of neighbours who are somehow all connected either via the past or present.  It is a dark comedy mystery.

Something about this book brings Desperate Housewives to mind. Is that fair?
Yes, it has a certain element of Desperate Housewives in it.  A group of neighbours, secrets, desires and revenge, all done with a twist.

Tell us more about Heidi, Cindy and Carla.
They make up The Gordonston Ladies Dog Walking club – each one has a secret and each one has a reason to want someone in the neighbourhood “taking care of”. They are have two faces – the faces the community see and then their true selves, which they hide.

What genre is it?
Mystery with a touch of satire and dark comedy.

You’ve lived in some of the most exotic places in the world; why did you choose Gordonston as the setting for your book?
Because I lived there and the place was begging to be written about.  I also include Argentina in the book along with Paris.

You seem to leave enough of an opening for a sequel. Should we get our hopes up?
Yes…..

Have you written any other books that we should read next?
I have a comedy at the editing stage, The Reluctant Jesus and a free short story “An Actor’s Life” already available – An Actor’s Life does mention The Gordonston Ladies Dog Walking Club – but how? You need to check it out!

Tell us a little about yourself.
Kind, honest, caring, extremely good looking and a compulsive liar.

Do you have a website where we can keep up with your work?
Yes, www.thegordonstonladiesdogwalkingclub.com and my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/TheGordonstonLadiesDogWalkingClub

And Twitter?
@DuncanWhitehead

What’s next?
The movie treatment for Gordonston has been written, next is the screenplay – and of course the sequel!
