Venus is a girl that you can root for. She’s had such a tragic upbringing and you really push for her to find happiness. You will watch in amazement as she transforms from a broken, unloved teenager into a powerful, independent woman with a mind and needs of her own. She has been charged with the heavy task of choosing a mate amid the kings of the two most powerful Vampyre bloodlines.

The men of my series are all drool worthy. What is a paranormal romance without multiple love interests and Venus has them in spades! Michael is an Archangel of the highest order, sent down to Earth to guide Venus on her path of choosing the correct mate. But the lust he feels for Venus sometimes clouds his heavenly judgment. Riken is the leader of the Rex Deus, the infamous bloodline of Jesus, struggling to maintain control over both his throne and Venus. Arias is the leader of the Descendants of Cain, evil that has birthed evil who is determined to battle his demons to be a better man for his future Queen. Venus has both good and evil running through her veins, which bloodline will she choose in the end?

Who is this series aimed at?
It appeals to a wide variety. I can see it appealing to those who have some sort of religious interest or conspiracy theorist background. It definitely appeals to those paranormal romance addicts. My character is 18 years old and has had a very traumatic childhood so it also appeals to New Adults and those who can identify with her experiences.

It has mature content though so only those comfortable reading explicit situations and violent interactions should pick this book up.

You’ve told us about the drool-worthy men, but we’re still curious about Venus.
Venus just turned eighteen and is finally out of the foster care system. She has had to endure emotional and physical abuse for many years. Just when she thinks she can escape reality by going to California, she is thrown into an alternate reality…one filled with Vampyres and Angels, where she is the object of everyone’s attention.

Why her?
Venus has an enormous wealth of untapped power in her veins. Her fragile exterior and timid personality can only shadow the darkness that is within her for so long. Venus’ downfall is that she is so hungry for love and coupled with the naivety of an eighteen year old, tragedy is bound to strike.

Complete this sentence for us: if you like _________________, you’ll love my book.
Anita Blake or Black Dagger Brotherhood.

Have you written any other books that we should read next?
I also have another series out called The Wanderlust Series. The first installment is currently available called “Crossroads“. I’d love for you to check that out as well.

We will.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I was born, raised, and currently reside in St. Louis, Missouri. I’m a single mother of two wonderful children. I’ve always loved to write, which I attribute to good genes! I consider myself bi-racial as I’m half German, half Japanese. I have a bachelors degree in Business Administration and currently work in the healthcare sector but it would be a dream to be a full-time author, which I am aggressively pursuing. I love sports and coach my daughter’s select soccer team. I have a love/hate relationship with food…nothing more need be said about that!

What’s next?
I always am working on multiple projects at the same time. Number one on my priority list is “Revelations Anointed”, #2 in A Dark Truth Novel Series. Number two on my priority list is revising, editing, and prepping for release the three additional books I have already written for The Wanderlust Series.  Number three & four are new book series…both vampire related.
