The Halfkinds Series is set up in a far future where certain species of animals have been granted human level intelligence.  These species have set up governments, interacting with humans much like how nations interact with each other today.  Genetic experimentation is what gave these animals such gifts, and in an effort to prevent such accidents from happening again, genetics have been banned.

However, the halfkind species has been created: half man, half animal.  The all powerful government is now determined to eliminate these threats to the fragile balance the world has fought hard to maintain.

We interviewed you about the first Halfkinds novel. Tell us where this sequel picks the story up.
It’s been three years since the events of Volume 1, and now the Halfkinds must deal with another Alliance team, human supremacists, and the Brotherhood of Wolves.

Volume 2 is written in the same style: first POV’s from different characters, and timestamps.  Fans of Volume 1 will know what I’m talking about.

Anyone looking for something wildly refreshing and original will love the Halfkind Series.  I don’t think there are many novels like the ones I’ve written in terms of both plot and style.

What genre is it?
Science Fiction.

What can you tell us about the characters that populate this book?
I don’t want to give too much of the characters in Volume 2, as it might spoil what happened in Volume 1, but the characters are varied in personality.  You have your military types, your brooding heroes, and your reluctant protagonist all in one novel.

Fair enough. Will there be further books in this series?
I’m solely focused on the Halfkinds Series right now, but Volume 3 is up next.  It will be released in November.  I’m really excited the direction the series is going, and I’m hoping Volume 3 will match up to Volume 2 in quality.  I’ve set the bar pretty high.

Will there be a Volume 4?
I’ll be writing Volumes 4, 5, and 6.  I’m really looking forward to writing it all out.  Pretty sure I’ll get a little teary eyed when Volume 6 is done.
