Interview with Trish Jackson, author of Kick Assitude
Small town redneck P.I. Twila Taunton is hell-bent on solving her mother’s murder. Accompanied by her canine companion, she follows the trail of a cold murder case and discovers a secret code on the skeletal remains–Cyder Hill 1952. Sexy cowboy Tanner Ferrano makes a concerted effort to seduce her and drive a wedge into her relationship with long distance boyfriend, hunky Harland O’Connor. When hard-drinking, weed-smoking Great Aunt Essie cracks the code, they head to a haunted mansion in the dead of night, mindful of the man-eating wild boars that patrol the grounds… Twila is not certain whether she’ll succumb to Tanner’s advances or end up rolling in the hay with Harland. She does know one thing, though. It’s gonna be wild and passionate. We cannot quite guess what genre this is. Put us out of our misery. What kind of readers will it appeal to? Tell us a little more about Twila. We know she was in your novel, Redneck P.I. Twila Taunton is a self-professed redneck, who is not afraid of anyone or anything and doesn’t care what she says or how she says it. She’s strong-willed, romantic, loves riding her Harley with her canine, Scratch in the basket behind her, and fiercely sticks up for the underdog. (No pun intended). What do we need to know about Redneck P.I? Tell us a bit about yourself. Wow, you should write that story! How can we follow you on Twitter and/or Facebook? What’s next? |
