Rescued is set around two best friends, Anya and Sophie, who’ve made the huge decision to leave their small hometown and head for the ‘big lights’ of Sydney. Anya is the sweet, romantic type and Sophie is gorgeous, spontaneous and could be considered a tad promiscuous.

There’s a definite Christmas element, as the story takes place in the week leading up to Christmas.

Essentially this is Anya’s story of meeting the gorgeous Bondi lifeguard Jack Covey who quite literally sweeps her off her feet!

Rescued: A Festive Novella is set on the gloriously iconic Bondi Beach, Australia. Anyone who has had the pleasure of setting foot on Bondi Beach will appreciate just what a gorgeous strip of sand and coastline it is.

Rescued: A Festive Novella is a short read (about 55 pages) but it packs a punch! The two female characters undergo strong positive emotional development throughout the story as the story essentially is about self-progression. Sometimes we need a hand with such changes and who better to lend a hand than a hunky Aussie lifeguard!

Tell us about Anya – and this hunky Aussie lifeguard.
Anya has had a tough couple of years and her friendship with Sophie has been a lifeline that she has desperately needed.

Jack is a handsome Bondi lifeguard, he is the quintessential Aussie guy—courageous, caring, compassionate (and hot!)

We know you well; you’ve interviewed us, and we’ve interviewed you. But for anyone who is coming across you for the first time, tell us about your work.
I’ve written a trilogy that focuses on three brothers (Roman Capello, Dominic Capello and Luca Capello) and their journeys in love and life. The Capello Brothers are gorgeous Italian men who are chivalrous, strong and capable men–the perfect alpha males.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I write commercially for both radio and print–my speciality is advertising copywriting and features writing. I’ve written for lifestyle, trade and custom publications on the topics of everything from breast cancer awareness to travel, superannuation to celeb interviews, commercial and consumer trends and everything in between. It was quite a natural progression to segue my creative writing skills into novel writing and I’m very much enjoying the challenges!

What’s next?
There is a fourth book in the Capello series which will release in early-2014. I have a massive series coming out in 2014 (12 books). I am also working on a couple of stand-alone projects.
