Liberty Chronicles is a series of five immortal-themed stories that chart a period in the life of a Grim Reaper called Syren, an unusual young woman who becomes involved with a sworn enemy in Christian and together they embark on a fast paced thrill ride into a world born in the shadows and time.

A Grim Reaper? Tell us about them.
Before time or man, God created two supreme beings; Adam and Eve. They were created with no equal and a single purpose and that was to parent a race of immortals. They were given the wisdom and skill to create immortal beings worthy of their creator but with great power came great disobedience, as Eve’s thirst for chaos put her in bad favour with their Father. Hell bent on destruction, a fierce war raged between Eve`s immortal creation; The Grim Reapers, and their counterparts, The Devine Collectors, created by Adam. Throughout history they had battled in the shadows for the souls of man numbering in their hundreds.

What genre is this?
Urban dark fantasy.

What do we need to know about Syren?
Syren was not like the other Grim Reapers, tormented by demons from her past she fights to rebel against her very kin, challenging their way of life and disobeying her elders, as she longs to be free of their chains.

And you say Christian starts off as her sworn enemy? Do they have anything in common?
Christian only wanted to be accepted by his fellow Collectors but with a young head and an attitude to match, to rebel was in his nature.

Will you be penning any more adventures for the pair?
I am currently working on a follow up to the end of Liberty Ascends, telling the tale of one of the main characters.

Tell us a little about yourself.
I am a husband, father, brother and son based in the quiet Hertfordshire countryside. Since early childhood I have dreamed of creating stories that people would fall in love with, but put those dreams on hold to focus on my family and my career.

In 2010, I finally plucked up the courage to put my mind into action with my first creation, “Liberty Within”.

The son of a Civil servant and a barmaid I was raised in a busy and metropolitan part of London where I developed a fascination with the paradox between religion and human nature more especially the part demonology played. These themes actually formed the backdrop for my books.
