In Last Night’s Clothes chronicles the trials and triumphs of a young man named Colin Prescott. The story takes several dark and exciting turns as he depicts reaching the very brink of self-annihilation, while trying to discover who he is and maintain his place as apart of the town’s trend-obsessed young social scene.

What genre is this novel?
Epistolary fiction.

What other books fall into this bracket?
Catcher In The Rye.

OK. Tell us about the main characters.
There are only two characters that remain constant throughout the novel: Colin Prescott  and an unnamed friend whom he shares his story with through a series of letters. Colin is both the villain and the protagonist of the book at different points. He is complicated and yet yearns for simplicity. He wants nothing more than love, but rejects the very idea of it.

And his unnamed confidant  plays a bigger role in the grand scheme of things than one would ever expect.

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
My book appeals to readers young and old, because it depicts both the external and internal struggles we all must face in order to  find ourselves.

Have you written any other books that we should read next?
I’ve composed a poetry collection titled Les Saisons, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a copywriter, poet, and fiction writer. I found myself drawn to foreign cinema and documentaries from a young age. As a teen I became a part of the LA punk scene and as I got older my interests broadened to include: politics, 17th-18th century European literature and a plethora of philosophies.
