My book follows the adventures of young Felix O’Shea, an inventor who finds himself falling into the most interesting and dangerous adventures. The Felix O’Shea Collection follows our hero around the world, to a dreamworld where he is king, on a journey to solve an ancient mystery, and a trip inside the the human body. Felix learns many valuable lessons along the way and learns about himself and others.

All four of Felix’s adventures are in this collection of stories.

Oh OK. Tell us about Felix.
Felix O’Shea, our main character, is a child who is brilliant and wise beyond his years. But often, he has trouble fitting in, and using his vast intellect he goes on wild adventures to find a place to fit in. While Felix is both curious and impulsive with many of his actions, he is open to change and hearing the advice of others. Many young ones who are developing their own personalities and unique individual traits will identify with Felix and the struggles he goes through.

Sounds like you identify with him too.
I believe the character of Felix is in a lot of ways just like me. I too can be impulsive, stubborn, and endlessly curious just like he is. I love that Felix is willing to explore different facets of life that may confound many of us and this is one thing that I try to achieve in my own life.

Sorry to keep harping on about the cover, but it makes us think of some kind of a cross between Indiana Jones and Tintin. How would you position the stories?
Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein.

Tell us a little about yourself.
My name is A.R Gajraj. I grew up in the Caribbean and moved all over the world with my parents and brothers while growing up. We eventually ended up in Texas and that is where we have been for the last 10 years. I put many of my experiences travelling and finding out about different people and cultures into the character of Felix.
