Why you must read Nashoda Rose’s Torn From You

Love is like an avalanche. It hits hard, fast and without mercy. At least it did for me when Sculpt, the lead singer of the rock band Tear Asunder knocked me off my feet. Literally, because he’s also a fighter, illegally of course, and he taught me how to fight. He also taught me how to love and I fell hard for him. I mean the guy could do sweet, when he wasn’t doing bossy, and I like sweet. Then it all shattered. Kidnapped. Starved. Beaten. I was alone and fighting to survive. When I heard Sculpt’s voice, I thought he was there to save me. I was wrong.

It’s written in Emily’s POV, however you get a taste of what happening in Logan’s head a couple times in the book. It’s about undying love, betrayal, agony, and a girl’s survival when she is pushed past her limits. The blurb says it the best because saying too much really does take away from the story.

Fair enough. What genre is it?
Great question because Torn from you is a mix of genres. It’s erotic, New Adult and a contemporary romance. Part sweet, part dark, part raw sex. Many have described it as two books in one.

That’s very true. It’s gritty, it’s violent, and the sex isn’t always lovey-dovey: do we need to be a certain type of reader to take the plunge? It’s been a huge bestseller, but do you know what demographic it has appealed to?

Yes, Torn from You is all those things and more– A romance with very dark twists and turns. It is not recommended for anyone who has difficulty reading about abuse. Yes, very disturbing situations and sensitive readers should stay clear.

They’ve been warned!
Tell us a little more about Emily.

Emily is naïve, sweet and has damaged self-esteem. What I loved the most about writing her character is that Eme is so incredibly strong. You won’t hear her whining about her horrific circumstances.

This quote says it all:
“Not many women shock me. Eme did. Even better is underneath the mouse, I suspect lives a lion.”–Logan

Logan is Sculpt’s real name, right? Tell us about him.
Mysterious alpha that is sexy as hell. He is direct and the type of guy that will do anything and I mean anything to get what he wants. But he also has a sweet side that runs deep for those he cares about.

We hear that we might want to read the novella, With You first.

Yes, it is highly recommended to read “With You” first. It’s short, but reveals how Emily and Logan met and fell in love.  It makes the novel that much more powerful because you are in deep with the characters and then you pick up Torn from You and WHAM!

Will there be more Torn Asunder novels? When can we expect the next instalment?

I’m currently working on Kat and Ream’s story, titled Overwhelmed by You. I don’t have a date yet, however I expect it to be out by early summer. The Unyielding series is after that and is a spin-off series.

We’re very curious about the mind from which this story sprung. Tell us all about Nashoda Rose.

I’m crazy about writing… totally addicted and I’m not seeking any help for it. Bucket, the tortoise, keeps me company while I feed my addiction along with my two dogs. Love coffee. Love my horses. And you’ll never find me without my kindle.
