Scott Landis is a structural enginer and widower raising his 6 year old daughter, Victoria. After years of traveling around the world and leaving his daughter with a housekeeper, he realizes it’s time to stay home and give his daughter a loving home. He finds out the hard way that his daughter’s Girl Scout Leader is his birthday trick.

Have you written any other books that we should read next?
Elusive Obsession is my first published book. The first chapter of my next book, Maid to Order, centers around Russell Long, a character in my first book. I’ve already gotten numerous e-mails asking when Russell’s book will be published – hopefully this summer.

I love to read and write, married my high school sweatheart. We have two children, Karen and Chris. Both are married and have given us 6 grandchildren between them. Since I love to bake and cook, one or more characters in each of my books love to wield a cooking spoon.

What’s next?
I am currently working on the third book in the series, Arrest of the Heart. The main character appeared in both Elusive Obsession and Maid to Order.
