Sweet Renegade is about a southern guy named Beau Kennedy. He is the youngest member of the boy band, Renegade. He’s all heart. He’s been chasing his beautiful, but older manager,Lizette, for about three years, getting turned down every time he asks her out. He finally gets her to go out with him by offering her a deal. She becomes his girlfriend for one month. At the end of the month, she will get to decide whether or not they continue their relationship or end it. If she decides to end it, then Beau will never ask her out again.

The question is, will Lizette fall in love with Beau? Or will she destroy his world?

This is different. Most rock star romance novels are sex-soaked tales of the star and a fan. Who is this story aimed at?

Tell us about Beau and Lizette.
Beau, who’s 23, is from West Virginia, but is living up in New York to be close to his bandmates. He’s honest and sweet. He wears his heart on his sleeve and loves with everything he has. He’s also a virgin.

Lizette, who is 30, is a bit more guarded. She lives with her brother, Dennis, who is an Iraq war veteran. He has severe PTSD and has lost part of his leg in an attack a couple years prior. Their parents are alcoholics.

At first, Lizette believes that the age gap between herself and Beau is a huge issue but as the story unfolds, she realizes that he’s too good for her. He has the perfect family while her’s is screwed up.

This is the start of a series, right?
Well, Renegade has five band members, each one is getting his own book. I’m going to be working on finishing that series after M.D. Saperstein and I finish A Taboo Love Series.

A Taboo Love? Tell us about it.
Each book following a different set of characters. In order they are, Hey There, Delilah… and Unmasking Charlotte. The third book of this series is in the works.

You’ve published another series, though, haven’t you? Tell us about that.
The Beck Brothers Series which consists of four books, each book following a different brother. In order they are, Henry, Sebastian, Quinn and Christian.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a stay at home mom with two little girls. I love to read. I get very engrossed in the stories I read. I’ve been writing since high school, although no one knew. I stopped for a while in my mid-twenties but eventually started back up. My husband was the only one that knew I was writing stories. Becoming a self-published author was never planned and is something that I kind of fell into. But I’m glad it happened and I’m excited of where it may lead one day.
