The murder of an aging ex-mafia don on the night of Halloween sends a homicide detective, a contract killer and an innocent teenage girl spiraling into the depths of the criminal underworld. For Det. Jesse Richards, the murder case is one that may break his record of solving every crime that comes across his desk. A husband and father, he puts family second as the murderers he chases are, in his mind, more deserving of his time. With no leads, he finally gets a lucky break. Or is it lucky after all? Why is it that the description of the killer he’s looking for matches the new man in his teenage daughter’s life?

But this story isn’t just about Richards, is it? Tell us about Dardian Dreshaj.
Dardian Dreshaj lives mostly at night, because it’s during the night when he mostly ‘works.’ Fearful of allowing any outsiders in his life, he finally risks all by giving his attention to the teenage girl who has taken it upon herself to care for his disabled mother. A girl he has watched for over a year, and knows that his life would be better with her in it. Just when their steamy romance begins, he learns that not only is she the daughter of the detective bent on tracking him down, but she has also drawn attention from his employers. To prove his loyalty, his employer asks him to do the one thing that will tear Aaliyah from his life forever. When his employer goes after Aaliyah, all rules are tossed out of the window. Everyone knew what he was capable of. If they had only come after him, he may have shown them mercy. Since they have targeted his woman, Dardian would make certain that each of them will scream their way to hell in The Blood Feud.

We love the thriller/romance elements to the story. But does that confuse it’s target market?
This book has reached the top 100 paid bestsellers on Amazon. Most of the buyers are women, including those who normally don’t read thrillers. It’s the romance between Dardian and Aaliyah that sucks the women readers in. It’s Dardian’s bad man persona that grabs male readers. The age bracket is 18-60. I have a fan in her sixties who is now a die-hard fan of my books all because of the lead character of the blood series, Dardian Dreshaj.

Tell us more about Dardian Dreshaj; make us fans too.
Dardian is the highest paid contract killer in America. On the streets, no one knows his true identity so New York gave him one, Padukshëm. An Albanian word that translate to ‘Invisible.’ A loner for more than fifteen years, his one desire is to find love and leave the criminal world behind.

We haven’t really talked much about Aaliyah. Tell us about her and her father.
Det. Richards is a hard man who believes he has complete control over his wife and only child, Aaliyah. Capturing bad guys is what he do and he loves it. If you ask him, his family is fine because he says they’re fine. End of story. Who would have thought that one investigation would cause his family to fall completely apart?

Aaliyah Richards is young, fresh out of high school and can take no longer her father’s need for control. When she falls head over heels for the mysterious Dardian Dreshaj, she struggles with the loyalty she feels her family deserves and her desire to live her own life with the man she loves.

There is a whole series of Dardian Dreshaj novels, right?
The Blood Feud is book one of the blood series. The Blood Tie is the second book, and is selling on the strength of book one alone.

My book, Plain Dealing, is a mystery/suspense novel. I have four other completed manuscripts to market, but my fans are chasing me for book three in the Blood series. It is my plan to release my current work, The Blood Trail, in the next three months. I also have a flash fiction series that falls under the genre of erotica. Dali’s Secret, Possessing Dali, Dali’s Ultimatum and Dali’s Fantasy are quick reads, but pack a lot of punch. Because of my penchant for suspense, these small books are filled with it as well.

Wow, you’ve been busy! Tell us about yourself.

Afterwards, I because an accounts manager, which is simply a nicer term for Customer Service Representative. During all of my spare time, I wrote fiction. I have completed eight manuscripts and have four uncompleted manuscripts in the works. Working all thing fiction is what I truly love doing.
