The story revolves around hot, hunky firemen and a sweet, lovable doctor and her colleagues. The idea came to me after watching one too many medical dramas on T.V. and reading some indie authors and thinking, hey I could do that. The result is Love is a Fire.

Tell us about this sweet lovable doctor.
She is a third year medical resident at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was engaged to fellow doctor Jeremiah Thomas. However, when she lost her father a month before they were to be wed, she called it off and vowed to never love again.

Until she meets Nick. Tell us about him.
Swoon…he’s what every woman wants! Sweet, down-to-earth, family guy with killer blue eyes and a nice bod. He’s been searching for Mrs. Right and refuses to stop looking until he finds her. Nick loves his job with FDNY and can’t imagine life without working there.

This is the start of a series, right? What can you tell us about the sequel?
I am currently working on the sequel, Burst Into Flame, and I’m participating in a #romanceinamonth story which is totally the opposite of these stories but I’m loving it just as much.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a thirty year old working mom who is trying to juggle work, parenthood, writing, running, and so many other things at the same time. I love writing as my creative outlet and love all my characters. My hope is that all my readers fall in love with Nick and Katy like I did.
