Interview with David P. Perlmutter, author of Wrong Place Wrong Time

Tell us about your book Wrong Place Wrong Time

The story is based on true events that happen to me when I visited Spain. After saving two lives from a burning hotel, I was wrongly arrested for arson and manslaughter.

What genre is it?

Non-fiction

What kind of readers will it appeal to?

Personally, as it is a true story, I feel that it would appeal to most readers. But I maybe wrong!

Complete this statement: If you liked reading __________ you’ll love Wrong Place Wrong Time.

True crime.

Wrong Place Wrong Time is based on true life events; are there more exciting stories from your life to tell or will you turn your hand to fiction next?

There are one or two but I am working on a fiction story now.

You’ll be the first to admit that you were a bit of a wild child; is that all behind you now?

Yep I am all grown up now with 4 great kids. I still like to enjoy life but not to the extent of my younger days.

Tell us a bit more about who you are today.

I am still the same old Dave but of course wiser and now living, for the moment, in Madeira. I am involved in sales and marketing for a holiday company. Since I wrote Wrong Place Wrong Time, I have the bug for writing and will continue to write further books.

How long did Wrong Place Wrong Time take to write?

I started the book Feb, 2010, took a gap and completed the book June this year.

Have you got a site where readers can keep up with your work?

Yes. http://thewrongplaceatthewrongtime.blogspot.pt/

Where can people buy your book?

Amazon, WHSmiths, Kobo, Smashwords and some more book sellers!

What’s next?

Continue marketing Wrong Place Wrong Time and writing my 2nd book. I have had contact with agents about the possibility of the book becoming a film, so let’s see and keep my fingers and toes crossed!
