The last time we talked to you was about the second Kelli Storm novel, Storm Warning. Tell us about your new book.
Deadly Storm – A Kelli Storm Novel is the third, and possibly final book in the series. This book brings Kelli to the brink and back. After being on the hit list of a major Columbian Cartel, and seeing the man who put the hit on her killed, she thinks she can relax her guard. But that is not to be. She finds herself not only dealing with the Cartel, but also with the Russian Mafia, and both groups want her dead. As if having a death threat hanging over her wasn’t bad enough, her personal life soon gets mixed in with her professional life and she has difficulty keeping the two separate. Her on again, off again relationship with her ex-husband Kevin reaches a new level. At the same time, Kelli finds herself attracted to the new DEA Agent she has been working with over the past year.

For those who haven’t caught up with the series so far, tell us who Kelli Storm is.
Kelli is a tough, hard as nails cop. Once she gets on a case, she doesn’t let go, even if it means breaking a few rules to get the bad guys. She is also kind to a fault, loving and shows her emotions. A loyal friend and partner.

What genre is it?
Crime Fiction/Police Procedural.

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
Any one who loves a good thriller or cop book.

Do we need to read the books in sequence, starting with Storm Rising and then Storm Warning?
This is book three in the series. If someone hasn’t read the first two, that’s okay, but to get the whole story, they may want to get them.

Readers have grown attached to Kelli Storm over the course of the series, so why won’t you tell us if she’ll be back in future books? – Or does she die!?
You know I can’t give away the ending, that would be cheating. You’ll just have to buy the book like everyone else.

Complete this sentence for us: if you like _________________, you’ll love the Kelli Storm novels.
Nikki Heat or Kinsey Millhone

Tell us a bit about yourself.
Not much to say. I spent most of my life in North Central Texas, though my parents did move us around a lot growing up. I fell in love with reading sometime around the third grade and by the time I was in Junior High I was writing my own stories. Most of my stories back then were Sci/Fi and Fantasy. (I was really into Ray Bradbury and Isaac Asimov.) After High School I joined the U.S. Army and spent my enlistment in Frankfurt, Germany in the 143rd Signal Battalion with the 3rd Armored Division. It gave me the opportunity to travel Europe.

After my enlistment was up, I came back to Texas for a short time, and ended up enlisting in the U.S. Navy. During my enlistment I got to visit Japan, South Korea, Guam, the Phillipines, Thailand, Pakistan and Hawaii. I now live and work in the Dallas/Fort Worth area as an IT Analyst, at least when I’m not being a writer.

Do you have a website where we can keep up with your work?
I have a blog. http://kenhoss.blogspot.com.

How can we follow you on Twitter and/or Facebook?
@kennhoss on Twitter.

What’s next?
I have several projects in the works, though at the moment I’m stalled on most.
