Interview with Suzy Turner, author of Forever Fredless
Kate Robinson has spent the past two decades yearning to find her soul mate, the boy she found and then lost during a family holiday. Shortly after her twenty-eighth birthday, however, she inherits a fortune from an old family friend and becomes something of an overnight celebrity. Can her new-found fame lead her to him after all this time? What genre is this? Six? You’ve been busy! And what demographic is that? If you like Bridget Jones Diary and Confessions of a Shopaholic, you’ll love my book. Tell us a little more about Kate. Tell us a bit about yourself. Although I’m a Yorkshire lass at heart, I left my home town of Rotherham, UK, to move to Portugal with my family when I was ten. The Algarve continues to be my home, where I live with my childhood sweetheart and husband of 15 years, Michael, and our two neurotic dogs and a cat who thinks she’s a princess. Do you have a website where we can keep up with your work? How can we follow you on Twitter and/or Facebook? We love the Forever Fredless cover, by the way. Who designed it? What’s next? But for the next month or so I’ll be really busy working on a short film based on one of my books. There’s a bunch of amateur filmmakers, volunteers and myself working together to try and create something special. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it will work out brilliantly. I can’t wait! |
