Tell us about Wendy.
Wendy was an abused child from early on, seeing and experiencing what no child should. From those experiences emerged a psychotic shell of a being that struggled with reality throughout her life.

Where did the idea for Wendy and her story come from?
I attended college as an adult and one of my classes was Abnormal Psychology; we had to write a paper on personality theories showing concepts of sexual instinct through defense mechanisms, displacement, organ dialect and aggression and withdrawal defensiveness. I wrote a short story and described two characters within the short story and related their developmental sexual errors to the concepts aforementioned. I received a 95 %, five points taken off for my works cited page; I have yet to get my works cited page correct.

And this is the start of a series?
I am in the process of completing BOOK II of my mind-twist series: WHY MY INGREDIENTS ARE SO POTENT due out this spring.

Tell us about yourself.
I am a military wife and mom, my husband just got back from Afghanistan, my son was in Baghdad. I recently resigned from my government job while my husband was away because they would not give me time off to take care of my kids; our closest relative lives about 50 miles from us and both children went to schools out of town, so I had no one to pick them up or drop off, or care for them. It was at that point that I decided it was time to finish this book that all my friends and relatives are raving about. The bits and pieces I let them read finally came to fruition and they loved it.

I have been writing since I was fourteen. I can entice and enthrall the most skeptical critic through my words, but am sometimes a babbling, stuttering savant in person. Okay, most of the time …. I am extremely shy and very reclusive around strangers but my family say I am the life of the party and they love coming to my house for summer cookouts and holiday get togethers.
