Tell us about this kick ass woman.
Shelby is a single mother who has a complicated past. She will do whatever is necessary to protect those she loves and carries a grudge. She joins a group of women who can help carry out the down fall of a man that took someone special away from her.

Those that know me, will know pretty quick that there are parts of my personality in Shelby. I think pieces of me are in all of my characters, it’s fun to see if anyone can figure out which ones.

In that case, tell us about Max.
Max is committed to his job and sacrificed his heart to obey his commanding officer. He’s not quite why the fates have given him a second chance, but he won’t let it disappear again.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I live in a suburb outside of Dallas, TX with my 2 dogs and 2 cats. After raising my daughter and sending her off to college I decided it was time to fulfill a life long dream. I started writing in Junior High when my English teacher suggested that I enter the Creative Writing portion of the UIL and I’ve been writing off and on for over 20 years. I am a current member of Romance Writers of America and the local Dallas Area Romance Authors.

During the day I work in business continuity and disaster recovery. I relieve the stress of my days by escaping into a world of sensually tender romance with a twist. When I’m not writing, I can be found baking cheesecakes or playing poker.
