This is the story of what happens, when mankind becomes, so selfish, so greedy, and so evil, that God himself turns his back on us, leaving us to fend for ourselves. In this world, evil reigns unchecked and it is up to Loughlin, Diana, James, and the rest of the underground clans to stop Walter, York, Lucien, and their army of the damned. They must stop them from forever closing the gates of Heaven to mankind, from unleashing Hell on Earth, and forever becoming, The Forgotten Ones.

What genre is it?
Mainly Fantasy, but it has elements of both adult and Y.A., sci/fi, steampunk, horror, and romance.

You reeled off a list of character names. Who should we look out for?
When the book starts, Diana is a 17 year old girl in upstate New York, in 1987. She has her own views of the way her life should be. Her father, Craig, has a few ideas of his own, and they clash about it from time to time. Ever since Diana’s mother was killed five years ago, exposing their family secret to Diana, they both agree on one thing unconditionally: All demons must die. If only her life were that simple.

Walter, the leader of the demon defectors from Hell, has a slightly different philosophy: He plans to be King of a world wide demon nation.

How much of you – or the person you wish you were – is in Diana –  or Walter?
I think there’s a little bit of me in all of the characters, even the minor ones. If you don’t inject some of your own life, your own experiences, and your own attitude into your story, then you’re just writing one word after the next, with no meaning, no connection. I think the reader can tell the difference.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a 33 year old married father of two. I’m from Queens, N.Y. currently living upstate. I have always loved writing and creating new worlds, using it as an outlet from reality, literally anything I dream up. Real life, especially in a small town, doesn’t allow half of the things the written world does. It transports me to anywhere, at any time, and gives me the feeling that I’m doing exactly what I was put on this planet to do. When I am not creating new worlds and showing off my impressive, unnatural strength, and ridiculous good looks, I enjoys spending time with my family and friends, going to the movies, and dancing my butt off.

I plan on releasing short stories, filling in some blanks of the books. After that, a screenplay my friends and I are working on. So many ideas, not enough time.
