Tell us about Ascension. What kind of book is it? Who is the main character?
This is an ensemble piece but a few characters are given slightly more focus than others. One of them is Clark O’Sullivan, a teenage leader who can’t leave well enough alone. These are characters who must decide to go down the path of good or evil. An extreme “coming of age” story, perhaps. Clark heads in one direction while his best friend, John, heads in another direction.

Clark is the sort of character who wants to do right but goes about it the wrong way. I think we all knew a person like that growing up.

What genre is it?
Young Adult.

Ascension is a coming of age story about power, love, betrayal, and forging one’s destiny.

And the good news is that this is just the beginning, right?
