Kate starts off a spoiled, city girl, disgusted with visiting her grandparent’s farm, only to be swept to another time, a time where she must decide if her role is to stop a death from happening.

This is a series, isn’t it?
I have written the first two books in a YA trilogy that entail time travel, a little romance, and of course…brushes with death. I take facets of real life and blend with a little imagination to portray a girl who battles a past that was never meant to be her own! In book one, Linked Through Time, Kate Christenson discovers she has the ability to travel along with some unknown clues to her aunt’s mysterious death. In the sequel, Lost Through Time, Kate’s efforts to control time travel and rescue a lost relative turn sour and almost deadly.

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
My fans range from 12 to 84- anyone who likes or relates to a country life and the possibility of traveling in time will be surprised!

Tell us more about Kate, and how she develops through the series?
She develops a trust and respect for her father, and grows in likability as she battles chores and the hard life of living on a rustic farm. The second book develops my villain, Sarah, who is obsessed with time traveling and keeping herself immortal, no matter the cost.

You say it’s a trilogy?
I am currently writing Destroyed in Time.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a preschool teacher, mother to three, and live by the beach. I love outdoor activities like camping and volleyball. I am a huge reader! And I recently learned to sew.
