Broken Birdie Chirpin is a rock n’ roll coming of age roller coaster ride…It tells the story of a watershed year in the life of a gifted, but mostly maladjusted, teenage rock n’ roller. He embarks on a journey from mysterious loner through the upper echelons of the London music scene in search of his rock n’ roll fantasy.

What’s the story?
The story opens at St. Thomas’ School for Blighters, where our rock n’ roller seemingly falls for Becky, a rough-around-the-edges schoolmate who sees past his shortcomings. His life is quickly complicated by an encounter with Skeffington, a high flying jock with musical aspirations of his own. The not-so-chance encounter sets in motion a series of events that will forever change each of their lives. As the summer months unfold so do the dreams and tragedies of our protagonist. Bloody hell. Even the smallest decisions define life for decades to come.

The main character is a somewhat maladjusted teenager. He is also a gifted musician and songwriter. The story is told through his eyes, and so everything is colored by that reality.

Have you written any other books?
I am working on it…but it’s been tough sledding because Broken Birdie Chirpin is still my main priority.

I am just an ordinary guy, with ordinary stuff going on, who hopes Broken Birdie Chirpin will somehow crack through the ceiling.

They don’t come easily unless I am really inspired.

A frantic man arrives at an airport for a midnight flight only to find that all of the flights are cancelled due to severe whether conditions. This flight is perhaps the most important of his life, however, because his wife lay dying in a hospital bed eight states away. He is trapped and desperate…and that is when strange things begin to happen.
