Tell us about Break Me Slowly. What’s the story?
The story is about a woman who has scars on her face and neck from a childhood abuse and her overcoming her fear of being touched while coping and healing with a domineering man with his own secrets and past trauma.

What genre is it?
New Adult Romance

What kind of readers will it appeal to?
Anyone who likes alpha males and strong female characters overcoming their greatest fears and learning to trust.

What kind of woman is Katelyn Gunn?
She a weak strong person…I know that sounds weird. Her past experiences have shaped who she is and she suffers from anxiety and phobias. But she is a survivor and doesn’t want to be weak. So it’s a constant struggle for her step outside her comfort zone. But she tries and with Adam’s help, starts really enjoying life.

Tell us about Adam Kinkade. Everyone is going to compare him to Christian Grey. What do you think?
I’m just grateful people take the time to read my book and comment about it. Good or bad, feedback is a really wonderful thing. When you write a character, you put a piece of yourself in them. For that reason I think all characters are unique. Adam just took on his own personality and it doesn’t hurt that he’s sexy too.

Tell us about the next instalment of the story. When can we expect to read it? What can we expect to happen?
Possess Me Slowly follows Megan (Kate’s friend from Break Me Slowly) and how she is putting her life back together. Lots has happened and there is a lot of aftermath from Break Me Slowly that gets dealt with. But Megan’s world continues to change and unravel until a wealthy hotel tycoon makes her an offer she can’t turn down. The book’s release date has been bumped up so I’m scrambling, but it’s due to come out early June 2013.

The “Coming Soon” page of your website is overflowing with projects. How many books are you planning to release in 2013? Have they all already been written?
It is overflowing isn’t it! Several were set to come out in the next few weeks but due to Break Me Slowly‘s success, things have gotten moved around to make room for Possess Me Slowly. But, YES, all the books with covers you see up there are completely written and will start coming out this summer! My hope is to release a book every 30-60 days come June.

I’m a wife and a mother. My husband and children are the best part of my day. I love spending time with them camping and travelling. I also really enjoy baking!
