My new book documents a series of profound afterlife experiences that changed my perspective on just about everything.

Afterlife? What do you mean?
One very normal evening, I fell asleep during deep meditation, as was my custom. But this time, I awoke in a dream that was ridiculously realistic, with all my senses heightened.

I didn’t think too much of it, but when virtually the same thing happened the next night, I began to worry about my own sanity. And for very good reason. You see, I had met a guy in my dream who told me over and over again that I wasn’t dreaming, but that my conscious being had “accidentally” tunneled into the afterlife.

Of course, I continued to believe that I was having a rare sequence of very weird, yet relatively normal, dreams, and I told this spirit, named Lyle, that he would have to show me some tangible evidence that this was really happening. I figured that request would end it all. It did the opposite. I got my proof, and thus began a long series of dreams in the afterlife where I received an incredible education.

What kind of education?
I learned all about a revolutionary, quantum-based biological science that made the afterlife, itself, a reality. Me, a devout atheist, was brain-washed into believing that everything is the result of a creator, an all-powerful universal consciousness. I was taught about the meaning of death, how brain dysfunction created civilization, how Christianity began, and so so so much more.

People will say all you’re claiming is impossible.
My book is filled with impossibilities, but it also presents a tender love story that involves my two spirit guides: Lyle and his fiance Betty. Yeah, it sounds completely crazy, but I’ve carefully documented everything that happened to me in this perfectly normal dimension. As I learned, the afterlife is nor more a miracle that life itself. It’s just all part of a natural cycle governed by plain old science.

A love story? What genre is this?
That’s a really good question that I don’t have such a good answer for. But I’ll try: Mind and body. Spirituality. Death. Dreams. Meditation. And someone suggested science fiction even though I swear it’s real.

Here’s an easier question, then. What kind of readers will it appeal to?
Readers from all demographics with one thing in common: A very open mind and the understanding that life can be beyond amazing.

Tell us a little more about Lyle.
Lyle is a young guy who lost his life in June, 1944 during the D-Day landings. He’s very typical of those times: simple and innocent. Lyle had never encountered anything like me and was trying very hard to explain the afterlife existence.

Prior to Lyle’s death, he had a fiance in Wisconsin named Betty. When he entered the afterlife, he performed what’s known as a thought construct, and created a completely lifelike version of Betty. She’s bright, very sweet, and a wonderful teacher. She and Lyle argue about how and what to teach me.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I was born and bread in the New York City area, then went off to the University of Arizona where I received a degree in Journalism. Upon my return to the city, I began a long career in advertising and marketing, with an emphasis on the creative side of the business. In fact, I won just about all the major copy writing awards. As a sideline, I invented toys and was responsible for two major successes. In 2007 I was diagnosed with a very severe case of cancer, and it took several years to get back on my feet. During many many long hours of chemotherapy, I perfected the art of meditation, and this led to my experience of a lifetime, and, hopefully, a successful book.
